Luisol
This light installation is a meditative, playful reflection on sense perception. The best effect is achieved in the dark with the UV light switched on. A monochrome picture entitled “before I vanish” reflects an image of the viewer that remains “frozen” as a shadowy picture, and only slowly disappears. The lettering installation “Luisiol” is similar.
It is a game about sense and senselessness, new languages and meanings. After the lights go off the letters fade slowly; scrabble for the soul, a nice way to fall asleep at the end of a long day.
